Hound Lounge Dog and Puppy Training
Whether you want your dog to learn the basics of "Heel" and "Sit" or keep him/her off the couch, Hound Lounge provides customized one-on-one training and behavior counseling for you and your dog.
We work with a wide variety of challenges, from straightforward obedience training to aggression modification programs, and firmly believe that training should be fun for both you and your dog.
By using reward-based, positive reinforcement training techniques, we help to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
We will meet with you and your dog in your home for the initial consultation and diagnostic session (approx. 2 hours).
After assessing your dog's training needs, we may decide that subsequent sessions are required.
We can also work with you and your dog in outdoor settings like parks, outdoor eating establishments, at a friend's house, or wherever your dog gets most excited, anxious or fearful.
Sessions are tailored to meet you and your dog's specific needs, but can include training in the following behaviors:
• Loose Leash Walking
• Off-leash control (coming when called, staying away from something nasty, waiting at the door without barging through)
• House training
• Barking
• Chewing
• Counter Surfing (stealing food off the counter)
• Digging
• Jumping
• Resource / Object guarding
• Shyness / Under-socialization
• Submissive Urination
• Aggression management, both on and off-leash
• Introducing dogs and babies
Price:
$150 for initial consultation (approx. 2 hours)
$65 per hour for subsequent sessions
